Pennylane : ComptaTech
The challenge
Pennylane, a SaaS accounting platform, organized the 5th edition of ComptaTech, its flagship event bringing together several thousand industry professionals every year. Over a single day, the challenge was significant: welcoming 3,500 attendees, running a 100-partner village with dedicated ticketing, and streamlining check-in with the on-site printing of more than 3,000 badges. After several editions organized with Digitevent, initially brought in for check-in, Pennylane this time wanted to rely on the platform's full set of features to manage the event from registration to connecting attendees with partners.
Workflow and solutions
Digitevent centralized all the data and attendee journey for ComptaTech 2026, with precise segmentation between clients, partners, speakers, and other profiles. New this year, a partner village was added to the journey. From their dedicated space, attendees could discover the partners present and book meetings with them through a smart matchmaking system. Everyone could also sign up for sessions and build their own personalized program, choosing between talks, workshops, and partner meetings. On the day, Digitevent also centralized check-in: more than 3,000 badges were printed directly on site, while check-in at the entrance and at sessions made it possible to track attendance precisely.
Results
Out of the 3,500 attendees expected, the event recorded an 85% attendance rate, confirming the loyalty of the ComptaTech community. The matchmaking module made it easier to connect partners and attendees, strengthening the business dimension of the event. The platform's reliability and the support of the Digitevent team once again won Pennylane over, building on a relationship of trust that has grown with each edition.
