The security and protection of your data is our priority

Digitevent is dedicated to staying in strict compliance with French and European regulations. As of 2017, we have integrated a series of measures in preparation for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We’ve even equipped ourselves with a data protection officer (DPO), whose role is to pilot and put into action our security and data protection policy.

Security and data protection are not just for teams working in tech, legal, or software. All of our employees are vigilant in abiding by our strict internal policy:

• Each employee must adhere to our security charter and participate in continuing education regarding the security and protection of our clients' data
• Access is only given to those necessary to the project
• There are frequent re-evaluations of who is relevant and granted access to a project
• Permissions management is centralized and only collaborators are given access

You are and will be in all circumstances the unique owner of your data and that of your contacts. Digitevent only stocks necessary data with the goal of allowing efficient usage of the service. In no case, can your data be used for any other purpose by Digitevent. You can at any time export data from our servers from your online account, or request us to delete all data concerning you from our servers, in conformity with the laws applied.

Maintain control over your collaborator's rights thanks to an adjustable authorization management system. You decide who has access to certain data or functionalities of your events.

Behind the scenes, you will find each of your participant’s files containing a clear history of all modifications made with the context, time, and account of the user behind the modification.

Passwords of Digivent users have some requirements in terms of format (length, special characters...). They are then encrypted on our servers, where they can’t be accessed by anyone, including by the Digitevent team. If you use SSO (Single Sign-On) in your organization, we can implement it to be used by collaborators when accessing their Digitevent account.

Your data is stored with AWS (Amazon Web Services), in datacenters exclusively located in the European Union, principally in France. This service provider of infrastructure and world-class servers is in conformity with the highest security standards.

Our databases are automatically saved with a retention period of up to 6 months. For stronger security, backups are encrypted in a secure and isolated space. The data servers use redundancy in order to replicate the data on multiple knots simultaneously and thus increase the rate of availability.

We use advanced encryption for all your data transit online, in order to optimize the availability and security of your recordings. All exchanges use HTTPS protocol with TLS 1.2 minimum.
