Weldom’s annual trade show brings together over 2,000 participants with diverse profiles: exhibiting suppliers, franchise store teams attending as groups, head office staff, and press guests. Each audience has specific needs, from booth booking to group registration or simple attendance confirmation. The challenge is to provide a tailored registration journey for each profile, generate personalized badges, and ensure a fast, seamless check-in process to avoid any queues on the day of the event.
Workflow and solutions
Digitevent set up an event website featuring four tailored registration journeys based on attendee profiles. Suppliers completed a detailed form, while stores could register multiple team members through a group registration flow. Weldom employees and invited guests benefited from simplified registration paths. Personalized PDF badges with QR codes were automatically sent to participants. On the day of the event, badge scanning enabled smooth access control, supported by a real-time dashboard to monitor arrivals.
Results
Over 2,000 participants were seamlessly managed across four distinct audience types. Automated handling of registrations, attendee journeys, and badge generation saved organizers valuable time in the event preparation phase. On the day of the event, fast check-in prevented queues, while real-time attendance tracking ensured smooth flow management and a seamless experience for all participants.
